Camping hacks and tips - Summer Learning Journey

 Today we were learning what to bring when we go camping, we also learned some hacks too. The first thing we did was read Prepare a camping checklist, then we explored Travel away, the last thing we did for the learn was watch camping hacks. The we made our own list of what we need to bring for the next time we go to camping. 

     Camping and tramping list.

• Sleeping bag
• Food & water
• Tent, poles, stakes and tarp                            
• First aid kit
• torch/ flashlight/ lanterns & batteries
• matches/ lighter/ fire lighter & fire extinguisher.
• Toiletries (e.g toothbrush, hairbrush and other things)
• Sunscreen 
• Ropes 
• Backpacks
• Cooking pots, tongs, large spoon, spatula, grill fork, pans, silverware and a lot more.

Te Reo Maori Ice cream - Summer learning jounery

 Last Tuesday we were learning how to say ice cream and 3 different flavours in Te Reo Maori. First we made a copy of this slide deck and started to do the task on the slides, we didn't need to watch some videos or read about ice cream. I think that this task has helped me a lot because I am not Maori. Here are my slides.

Tastes of summer - Summer Learning journey

 Today we were learning what tastes means to you are your whanau. The first thing we did was watch describing foods, then we readed NZ favourite foods and Summer foods. Then we started doing a collage of our favourite foods on summer. Here is my collage.

It's cool to be kind - Summer Learning Journey

Today we were learning how to be kind online, first we played this game where we have to spread kindness to those who were feeling sad and hurt and we had to stop cyberbullying, it's really fun and the game is called interland. Then we looked for some comments from our blog and copied it, pasted it onto a google drawing and wrote an reply and post it onto the comment.
