Today I was learning how to make a June Student Reflection Newsletter.

I enjoyed writing a comment to my friends.

I found it challenging to get a good selfie.

Pattern Ball - P.E

We are learning to communicate and work as a team.

Explain - working out the pattern,

Different ball pass.

- ball 1 - chest pass.

- ball 2 - bounce pass.

- ball 3 rugby.

To communicate we had to call each other's name and have eye contact.

We found it easy to call each other names.

We found it hard to get it perfect but it was fun.

Should Matariki be a Public Holiday?

This week my reading group was learning: WALT - identify the main idea and evaluate ideas.

I enjoyed asking the people in my group questions.

I found it challenging to make the work pop up.

The boy at the back of the class task 1 week 11

Today I was doing a task from our book called the boy at the back of the class.

The task is draw a picture of one of the Queen's guard.

Help and Hiders

This week I was learning how to combine sources of information with developing confidentify, form, and express ideas.

I enjoyed picking the color.

I found it challenging to do some of the helps and hinders.

This week I was learning how to use visual language features.

I enjoyed making the comic strip.

I found it challenging to finish it in time.

Transubstantiation

We are learning about Corpus Christi and Transubstantiation.

Corpus Christi is Latin and means the feast of the body of christ.

Transubstantiation means the bread and wine turns into the body of Jesus.

Today I was doing a video of me playing my keyboard. 

Gravity

This and last week we were learning about gravity.

I enjoyed doing the experiments.

I found challenging was writing in the slides.

This week we were learning how to use structure paragraphs.

I enjoyed writing the plan.

I found challenging was using sequence idea in order.

Why do you not float when you jump?

What happens if you jump up? Do you go down? Or you just float off into space?

Today I will be talking about gravity. I will be using dropper poppers to help talk about gravity.

Gravity is like a super hot glue around Earth and it makes gravity. Just like an apple fell and hit the ground. Why does it not go up or right or left?  

The super glue around Earth makes gravity. It's like super glue but you can’t see it.

Gravity is a force that pulls everything down. Not left or right but down.

If you use a dropper popper with a ping pong ball, the ping pong ball will fly up into the sky. But why does it not stay in the sky? Well gravity pushes the ping pong ball back down. If you invert the dropper popper dome down with a ping pong ball, it will fly into the air. But come back down.

No matter where you throw the ball, it’s going down.

Boy at the back of the class week 9 task 8

Last night I was doing a boy at the back of the class task. 

I enjoyed creating the fire. Because Minecraft already has a campfire.

I found challenging was making the tents.

Today I was learning how to make the jouney that Ahmet (from the boy at the back of the class) had from his home town to london.

I enjoyed looking around the earth.

I found challenging was making it go into the water.

The Holy Trinity

Today I was learning about The Holy Trinity.

I enjoyed drawing the apple.

I found it challenging to write about it because I was on the floor.

Trinity means 3 in 1. The father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. 

The skin is like God protects us like the skin protects the apple.

The flesh is like Jesue. He nourishes us.

The seeds are like the Holy Spirit planting the fruits of the Spirit.

Pentecost

Pentecost was the day when the holy spirit came down to the disciples. After 40 days from Easter Sunday the disciples all came together and waited in a room. A big wind came and hit the house. After it stopped tongues of fire came and landed on they heads. They started talking in different languages. They came out and Peter told all the people who heard the big wind that hit the house, he talked about god and how he send the holy spirit to them.

Next time we would use the tin fold first.
Our light bulb didn't work so here are the things to not do.
